Do-It-Yourself Target Stand

PCV Pipe Target Stand

List of Materials:

• 1 – 10’ piece of 1 ½” PVC pipe 10 feet long
• 4 - 1 ½” PVC Tee’s
• PVC Glue and PVC cleaner. (Small Cans)
• 2 – Tomato stakes 1 ½” X ¾” X 5’ or 6’  

Make the following cuts in the 10’ piece of pipe.

• 4 pieces 18” long (Legs)
• 1 piece 20” long (Center connecting piece)
• 2 pieces 6” long
• 2 pieces 4” long

Assembly

1. Glue 2 of the 18” pieces to a opposite sides of a Tee. Repeat on second set of 18” pieces (these will be the feet).
2. Glue one 4” piece and one 6” piece to opposite sides of another Tee. Repeat on second set. These are the vertical parts of stand that will hold the stakes. The 20” piece is center connector.
3. Assemble, but do not glue, the vertical parts to the feet and the center connector to vertical pieces. Insert Tomato stakes for target stand to hold target backer.
